People with restricted physical ability
On board the Louis Jolliet and the Cavalier Maxim
Electric wheelchairs
- Given the total weight of the wheelchair combined with that of the occupant, the settings of such a chair and the lack of grip, it is not possible to embark any type of electric wheelchair on board the ships.
- In order to participate in a cruise, we invite our disabled guests to be transferred to a manual wheelchair before showing up at the departure platform.
Manual wheelchairs
- Access to the ships at all times, regardless of the tides.
- Depending on the individual in question, three or four members of our crew will assist the person in moving about and in changing decks.
- For the duration of the cruise, when necessary, the passenger can call upon members of our crew in the same way in order to be assisted in moving about.
- Embarcation and disembarkation will be assisted by crewmembers.
Disabled passengers not requiring the use of a wheelchair
- Access to the ships at all times;
- Assistance from the crewmembers from their arrival at footbridge or before, depending on the passengers needs.
On board the Grand Fleuve, Cavalier Royal and Cavalier des Mers
