Contest Rules

The contest is organized by Croisières AML and takes place in Quebec from August 1, 2023, to September 15, 2023, at 23:59.

Eligibility

This contest is open to all individuals who wish to participate and meet the participation criteria.

Participation

To participate in the contest, individuals must:

1. Give a review on Trip Advisor for Croisières AML, mentioning an employee by name in the review.
2. Subscribe to Croisières AML's newsletter.

Reviews must be submitted between August 1, 2023, and September 15, 2023, to be eligible for the contest.

Limit of one (1) entry per person.

The contest organizers and their representatives reserve the right to disqualify a person or cancel one or more entries if they participate or attempt to participate in the contest using means that violate these rules or are unfair to other participants (e.g., exceeding the permitted number of entries, computer hacking, etc.).

The winner of this contest will be determined by a random draw among eligible participants. Any participation that, upon verification, does not meet the above-mentioned criteria will be rejected. Another winner will then be drawn to replace them.

The contest organizers, as well as their employees, agents, and representatives, are not responsible for any potential malfunction of any computer component, software, or communication line, loss or absence of network communication, or any faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible, or erased transmission by any computer or network, which may prevent a person from participating in the contest or limit their ability to participate. By participating in this contest, all individuals agree to release the contest organizers, their employees, agents, and representatives from any damages they may incur as a result of their participation or attempted participation in the contest.

Prize

The winner of the contest will receive $500 in cash.

The prize must be accepted as described in these rules. It cannot be substituted for another prize, exchanged in whole or in part for cash, or transferred to a third party.

Under no circumstances will the contest organizers be required to award more prizes than stated in these rules. They will not be held responsible for any loss, theft, or misuse of the prize.

The winner releases the contest organizers, their subsidiaries, employees, agents, and representatives from any liability for any damages they may incur as a result of accepting or using the prize.

Draw

A random draw will take place on October 5, 2023, at 12:00 PM at 124, rue St-Pierre, Quebec (Quebec) G1K 4A7, among the participants who have given a review on Trip Advisor, mentioning an employee by name, and have subscribed to Croisières AML's newsletter. The winner will be contacted in response to their review on Trip Advisor.

Awarding the Prize The person responsible for the contest at Croisières AML will contact the winner by responding to their review on Trip Advisor to determine how they will receive their prize. In the event that the winner cannot be reached within ten (10) days following the contest, a new draw will be conducted by Croisières AML.

General Conditions

Failure of a selected participant to comply with any condition set out in these rules or refusal of the prize will result in disqualification. In such a case, a new draw will be conducted to award the prize, in accordance with these rules, until a participant is selected and declared the winner. In the event that no winner is declared within sixty (60) days following the draw, the contest organizers may, at their discretion, cancel the prize.

Participants in the contest agree to receive Croisières AML's newsletters and promotional offers occasionally. Participants agree to abide by these rules and authorize Croisières AML to use their name, place of residence, photographs, or images in any advertising, without any form of compensation. Entries and liability exemption forms are the property of the contest organizers and will not be returned to participants.

The contest organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the contest in whole or in part, in the event of any event or human intervention that may corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality, or progress of the contest as provided for in these rules, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, if required.

Any decision of the contest organizers or their representatives related to this contest is final and without appeal, subject to any decision by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec regarding any matter falling within its jurisdiction.

A dispute regarding the organization or conduct of an advertising contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for resolution. A dispute regarding the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie solely for the purpose of attempting to resolve it.
