Please note that you must pick up your tickets at the Croisières AML ticket office before boarding.

Please pay attention to your booking confirmation and check the date and time of your cruise.

Prioritize public transportation to make your journey easier. Limited paid parking is available near the boarding areas.

    Before departing

    • You must be in possession of the credit card used to make your reservation.

    Access to the cruise

    • Plan your journey by checking the itinerary (plan to arrive at least one-hour prior departure).
    • Customers departing from Tadoussac must take a ferry (free of charge) between Baie-Sainte-Catherine and Tadoussac. At certain times of the year, waiting times can be long. Please note that it’s your responsibility to plan ahead.

    Parking lots

    • Baie-Sainte-Catherine: private parking is available for $7 per car (no reservation necessary, unlimited spaces)
    • Tadoussac: several public parking lots are available in the village (no reservation possible, limited space).

    Feeling uncomfortable?

    If you are sensitive to seasickness, please take the necessary precautions for your own comfort, as no return to the wharf will be provided.

    Accessibility

    People with reduced mobility can access the cruise from Baie-Sainte-Catherine only. Please contact us in advance if you require assistance at 1-866-856-6668.

    What to wear

    It is important to dress warmly. Temperatures on the river are generally much colder than on the coast, with a difference of around 10 degrees at times.  

    If you forgot to bring something warm, you can easily buy various items in one of our Croisières AML boutiques.

    We also offer lunch boxes, which you can order in advance when booking, at the ticket office or on site (subject to availability).

  • Zodiac Whale Watching Tour

    Boarding conditions

    • The signature of a waiver will be mandatory upon your arrival.
    • People with back problems, pregnant women, and children under 6 years old are not allowed on board the Zodiacs.

    • We provide water-resistant overalls to allow you to fully enjoy your cruise while staying dry.

    Bring an umbrella and/or raincoat and good shoes. The tour takes place rain or shine.

    No on-site catering. Cold bistro available on board the boat. Lunch boxes are on sale at the ticket office of Berthier-sur-Mer. You can also bring your own lunch.

    Parking at the marina of Berthier-sur-Mer is free of charge.

    Accessibility

    Prepare your cruise and visit to Grosse-Île

    The cruise to Grosse-Île take approximately 45 minutes one way.

    On your cruise to Grosse-Île, you can expect a journey filled with discoveries and emotions. Here are some practical details about what to expect during your visit:

    • Trails length: upon arrival on the island, you will have the opportunity to discover its attractions by walking approximately 3 kilometers.
    • Accessibility: Please note that the trails are gravel, and some areas are not accessible by bike.
    • The island does not have a recharging station for electric bikes.
    • Number of steps: you will encounter several staircases to climb, so make sure you are wearing appropriate footwear for a comfortable experience.
    • Strollers for children: It is possible to bring a stroller for children, but please note that some parts of the route may be more difficult to access, with dozens of steps in some places. Please bring an alternative if possible.

    An ornithologist will be present to share information about penguins and other endemic bird species living in the ecosystem of the St-Lawrence River.
