Terms of Sales
Regular Cruise Tickets
Croisières AML, its subsidiaries, or any affiliated entity (collectively the “COMPANY”) cannot provide any refunds or changes of date and time. Transfers to third parties are not accepted. As further detailed in the Safety and Liability section below, the schedule, vessel, and itinerary may be subject to change without notice. If the cruise must be cancelled for the reasons outlined in the Safety and Liability section, the COMPANY will refund only the cost of the cruise.
For any cancellation due to one of the reasons mentioned in the Safety and Liability section, alternative dates or types of cruises may be offered to clients depending on availability, or a credit or gift card equivalent to the cost of the cruise or package may be issued (in accordance with the conditions set out in the Special Events section).
The price of cruise tickets and other products sold by the COMPANY varies depending on the cruise date chosen by the client. For greater flexibility, please consult the AML-FLEX section prior to purchasing your ticket.
At the time of booking, the total invoice amount must be paid in full.
The original credit card used to purchase the tickets must be presented at the ticket office, even if the booking was made via our online platform.
Cash payments are not accepted at our ticket offices or on board our vessels. Only debit or credit card payments are accepted.
Special Events
The purchase of a cruise ticket in connection with a special event, such as a pyromusical show or other event, is non-refundable in the event of cancellation or postponement of the special (ancillary) event. In the case of cancellation or postponement, the cruise will still take place, and the COMPANY will refund only the difference between the price of the ticket associated with the special event and the regular price of a cruise without the special event, according to the type of package purchased.
If the ticket is issued for a cruise that includes an activity for which the COMPANY is not the promoter, the COMPANY assumes no responsibility in the event of, among other things, cancellation or postponement of such cruise or activity. In this regard, the passenger waives any claim against the COMPANY, its employees, and agents.
If the cruise includes a dining component (brunch, dinner, etc.) and the vessel cannot depart for one of the reasons listed in the Safety and Liability section, only the cruise portion of the ticket will be refundable.
All general conditions apply to special events.
Gift Cards, Gift Certificates and Credits
Gift certificates are non-redeemable for cash and non-refundable.
A reservation is required by calling 1-866-856-6668. The gift certificate or gift card number will be required to complete the reservation, as well as information regarding the available credit.
Our gift certificates and gift cards have no expiration date. Gift certificates for a specific product are exchangeable without additional charge for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. After this period, an additional fee may be required if the price of the product exceeds the value of the gift certificate. The value of the gift certificate is indicated in the service confirmation.
If a credit has been issued due to a cancellation by the COMPANY, it must be used within 12 months of issuance.
Photography and Promotion Use
The COMPANY may capture passengers’ image, movements, and voice on board its vessels through photos or video recordings. These materials may be used by the COMPANY for advertising or promotional purposes, including on its social media platforms, without any compensation or additional authorization required.
Food allergies
Despite all due care in preparing food offered to its clientele, the COMPANY cannot guarantee that meals and food products are entirely free from allergens, including, but not limited to, gluten, eggs, lactose, and nuts in all forms.
Accordingly, the COMPANY disclaims all responsibility for any damages that may result from the presence of such allergens in food products offered on board its vessels, unless such damages result from the personal fault of a COMPANY representative.
Safety and Liability
If a passenger’s behaviour is deemed potentially detrimental to other passengers, crew members, or unsafe for themselves, the COMPANY reserves the right to refuse boarding due to such conduct (intoxication, aggressiveness, physical or verbal threats, etc.), without compensation. The passenger will be solely responsible for any expenses incurred as a result of their conduct.
By accepting this ticket, the passenger acknowledges and accepts that the cruise offered by the COMPANY carries certain risks of material, bodily, or moral harm, notably related to navigation and weather conditions. The passenger accepts all risks of material, bodily, or moral harm that may occur at any time on board the vessel, including during embarkation and disembarkation. The passenger acknowledges having had the opportunity to address any questions regarding these risks to the COMPANY and being satisfied with the responses received. The passenger waives any claim against the COMPANY, its directors, officers, employees, and agents for any damages arising in connection with such inherent risks, unless such damages result from the personal fault of a COMPANY representative.
The COMPANY will make every reasonable effort to carry out the cruise according to the planned itinerary and dates. However, certain events beyond its reasonable control, such as adverse weather conditions, extreme temperatures, ice, force majeure, directives from competent authorities, public health emergencies, unforeseen technical failures, mechanical breakdowns, maritime traffic, or other exceptional circumstances may render the cruise unsafe, illegal, or impossible, resulting in itinerary changes, delays, postponements, or even cancellations. The COMPANY will inform passengers as soon as possible. The name and type of vessel are provided for information purposes only. The COMPANY assumes no responsibility for inconveniences caused by circumstances not attributable to it.
The passenger is responsible for monitoring personal belongings and luggage on board at all times and assumes the risk of theft or loss. By accepting a ticket, the holder agrees to the above conditions as well as those stated on the ticket.
