Motorized Mobility Aids (MMA)
(Motorized wheelchairs, scooters, quadcopters)- Due to the weight of this type of wheelchairs combined with that of the occupant, the adjustment of the wheelchairs and the absence of lifting points, it is impossible to take electric wheelchairs of any type on board the AML Grand Fleuve.
Manual wheelchairs
- The AML Grand Fleuve is partially accessible for people in manual wheelchairs. A maximum of two (2) people in manual wheelchairs may embark on the same cruise. For the duration of the cruise, people in manual wheelchairs will be accommodated on deck A, which has an adapted bathroom.
- Boarding and disembarkation are via an adapted gangway in the presence of crew members from Baie-Ste-Catherine only. No boarding is possible from Tadoussac.
- Passengers can be assisted throughout the cruise by a crew member if needed, subject to staff availability.
- Please note that the VIP Lounge St-Laurent, B deck, upper deck and outdoor areas are not adapted for people with reduced mobility.
Persons with reduced mobility without wheelchairs
- Boat accessible at all times;
- Assistance in moving passengers from the moment they arrive at the bridge or before, depending on the passenger’s needs and the availability of staff.
