Gabry Elle, whose real name is Gabriel Meagher-Gaudet, is a drag queen who has been active in the scene since 2015. Her academic background in musical comedy at the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts in Toronto led her to play the role of Edna Turnblad in an Ontario production of Hairspray. Gabry Elle was born after this production.
Returning to Quebec in June 2015, Gabry Elle began hosting the "Party de L’Enfer" on Thursdays at Le Drague Cabaret Club. Gabry Elle also took the lead several nights, including "Les dimanches Diva-Nation", "Les lundis Jukebox", and more recently, "Les jeudis Big, Black and Beautiful", alongside Barbada de Barbades. In 2016, Gabry Elle participated to a reality TV production entitled "Ils de jour, Elles de nuit" starring Tracy Trash, Rita Baga, Barbada de Barbades, Lady Poonana and Lady Boom Boom. The show was directed by Frédéric Gieling and broadcast on ARTV.
In September 2018, Gabry Elle hosted the very first radio show dedicated to drag queens in Quebec, titled "L’Heure des Divas", which was broadcast on CKRL 89.1. In 2019, Gabry Elle appears as the first drag queen to audition for La Voix (The Voice) on TVA. For the past few years, Gabry Elle has had the opportunity to take part in various projects, including Star Académie alongside Mitsou, the Grands-Feux Loto-Québec, and not to forget her first solo show : "Quétaine : sur un o$t! d’temps" on tour everywhere! Gabry Elle is also a contributor on the morning show "La gang du matin" on 107.5 Rouge every Thrusday!
